All the Chrome-Carpet Looks at Beyoncé’s Renaissance Film Premiere

The stars were out and dressed to the nines for the premiere of Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé in Los Angeles earlier this month—and now again, for the London premiere.

From Winnie Harlow’s dramatic black puff-sleeve top to Kelly Rowland’s metallic silver mermaid dress and Blake Lively’s metallic silver mini, each guest has stepped out onto the chrome carpet in their take on the “cozy opulence” dress code.

The highly anticipated evening on the West Coast had a suspenseful flavor, as coordinated by Queen Bey. The singer kept information at a minimum, sharing only the date and dress code on invitations to the premiere. The location of the screening, the Samuel Goldwyn Theater, wasn’t revealed to her celebrity guests until just 24 hours before the event.

To further add to the mystery, Beyoncé skipped her grand entrance there, and instead made her cozy opulent debut on Donatella Versace’s Instagram. The woman of the hour stunned in a head-to-toe

metallic silver ensemble composed of a custom Versace gown, opera gloves, and open-toe heels. For one more surprise, she went platinum blonde. (Read more about it here!)

The L.A. premiere took place Saturday, November 25, while the London event was held Thursday, November 30.

Beyoncé’s stylish audiences have watched the film—a chronicle of her Renaissance World Tour, which opened May 10 in Stockholm, Sweden, and wrapped up October 1 in Kansas City, Missouri—while snacking on popcorn served in metal Renaissance buckets and sipping water from matching cups. The movie officially opens in the United States, Canada, and Mexico this Friday, December 1.
