Gwyneth Paltrow looked like royalty at the closing ceremony of the Red Sea Film Festival on Thursday dressed head-to-toe in a radiant yellow.
The “Iron Man” actor made a glorious entrance on the red carpet in a grand sunny yellow gown by Carolina Herrera that featured shirred puff sleeves, ruched detailing, a belted bow at the waist, and a center slit. Paltrow kept the vibrancy going with gold strappy open-toe heels, glimmering gold drop earrings, and various gleaming gold rings. Staying on theme, her glowy glam consisted of shimmery pink eyeshadow, rosy cheeks, and a peachy glossy lip. She finished off the look by pulling her shiny blonde locks back into a sleek low ponytail.
The Goop founder made multiple appearances at the 10-day festival in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, which showcases and celebrates a range of films. On Wednesday, she spoke with Jomana al-Rashid, the first female CEO of the Saudi Research and Media Group, about her career and shared that her mom inspired her to pursue acting.
“My mother is an actress. She did mostly theater. And so I grew up as a little girl watching her rehearse plays and running around the theater,” Paltrow said in front of an audience, according to Variety. “My mother would even say she always felt a bit insecure. When she was on stage, she was the most powerful, integrated force of nature that I have ever seen. And so I wanted to be that.”
Paltrow displayed another powerful, vibrant look on Monday at the 2023 Fashion Awards, stepping out in a stunning scarlet red vintage Valentino ensemble. She layered a dramatic sweeping feather cape over a floor-length strapless gown, which featured a plunging cutout along the neckline. Keeping things monochromatic, she added matching pointed-toe stiletto heels, and to up the ante even more, she accessorized with diamond drop earrings and diamond statement bangles. Duly dressed for the occasion, she presented Valentino Garavani with the Outstanding Achievement Award.
